The first semester of the Plotkin promotion is coming to an end. This term has been a whirlwind of challenges that has pushed the boundaries of our abilities with a lot of hard work (and caffeine!). It has allowed us to reveal our untapped potential and discover we are capable of much more than we originally thought. At this point, it is incredible to look back and see how much we have accomplished and how we can further explore this new potential we have just discovered within ourselves. Beyond being rigorously evaluated, we have also discovered the value of collaboration. Our ability to come together to conquer obstacles (and have fun) has taught us skills we could never learn inside the classroom. A highlight of our semester was our visit to the ALBA synchrotron together. It was a fascinating experience and has further sparked our passion for science. It was a wonderful opportunity, thanks to our coordinators and professors. We have also attended together the Congress of The Catalan Society of Immunology (SCI), where we got to experience first-hand fascinating scientific discussions and groundbreaking research. Aside from academic activities, we were also able to enjoy some extracurricular activities. We built a lot of new friendships, discovered new hobbies, and we were fortunate enough to witness various festivals such as the La Mercè and Three Kings parade. Barcelona has given us a lot of amazing memories inside and outside of class that we will treasure and remember for a lifetime.
Proud of the work accomplished and positive!
