Three Degrees awarded with the LIVE European Diploma Supplement
The full partner universities mutually recognise every semesters jointly organized. Thus, LIVE students who complete the full two years of study receive three currently accredited national master degrees jointly awarded: (1) “Máster Universitario Erasmus Mundus en Educación Internacional en Vacunas” (Spain) by UAB & UB, (2) “Master of Leading International Vaccinology Education” (Belgium) by UAntwerpen and (3) “Master Biologie moléculaire et cellulaire parcours Leading International Vaccinology Education” (France) by UJM & UCBL. Students who enter the LIVE programme in the third semester (at M2 level) will be awarded the “Master Biologie moléculaire et cellulaire parcours Leading International Vaccinology Education” (France) by UJM & UCBL. Moreover, The LIVE programme has been labelled as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master since 2015. The coordinating institution, which is the University of Lyon, will award to each student the LIVE European Diploma Supplement which specifies the nature of the LIVE programme with EU labelling. In agreement with the programme of the EMJM LIVE. The template of the LIVE European Diploma Supplement has been jointly designed with all partner institutions delivering diploma.
Graduation ceremony
The graduation ceremony, organised in Lyon, showcases the achievements of LIVE graduates and celebrates their graduation from the LIVE program. Current and graduating students are invited to the ceremony, which makes for a wonderful meeting of three, four or even five generations of the LIVE family in one place. Parents and friends travel from all over the world to attend this special day and celebrate their loved ones. Guest speakers are invited and give short speeches, which inspire the graduates and welcome them into the professional world of vaccinology.
Graduation ceremony Jenner promotion, 2019, Lyon, France
The graduation ceremony for the Edward Jenner promotion, 2016-2018 of the Erasmus masters in Leading International Vaccinology Education held on September 2nd, 2019 in Lyon, France. The Edward Jenner promotion is made of 23 motivated students from 19 different countries all over the world. During the graduation ceremony, their professors and current students visited Lyon to celebrate with them.
Graduation ceremony Pasteur, Montagu, Hilleman promotion 2021, Lyon, France
The graduation ceremony for the Pasteur (2017-2019), Montagu (2018-2020) and Hilleman (2019-2021) promotions of the Erasmus masters in Leading International Vaccinology Education was held in 2021 in Lyon, France. The Louis Pasteur promotion was composed of 20 motivated students from 17 different countries all over the world, the Lady Mary Montagu promotion of 21 students from 14 different countries and the Maurice Hilleman promotion of 25 students from 20 different countries
